Opening of Movement Exposed Gallery Space and launch of Critical Space Website
Thursday 12 December from 5 – 7 pm., Buurkerkhof 7, Utrecht
On Thursday 12 December, Movement Exposed Gallery Space opens its doors. Movement Exposed is a new gallery space situated in the city centre of Utrecht. To mark the festive new beginning, Movement Exposed has invited Jonne Stout. Jonne Stout graduated from HKU University of the Arts Utrecht last summer with Second Verse, a kinetic sound installation based on the acoustics of
ceramics. The installation has been tailored to the gallery space and can be visited until 11 January 2020.
Movement Exposed Critical Space has been online since the summer of 2019. This English-language website is dedicated to critiquing the performing arts with a special focus on language-no-problem shows. Movement Exposed Critical Space is a new initiative to generate greater critical mass and boost independent high-quality critical writing within the arts. On Thursday 12 December the editors of Movement Exposed Critical Space will launch their initiative and tell you all about it.
Movement Exposed was created from a desire to offer a platform to work and projects on the cutting edge between different art forms and media, alongside critical writing on the (performing) arts.
